TIPS Ground Support Equipment visited by a delegation of Ambassadors, General Consuls and Economic Attachés.
In the scope of the visit of fourteen Ambassadors, General Consuls and economic Attachés of the Netherlands, Finland, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, India, China, Nepal and Venezuela accredited in Slovenia, to the Municipality of Krško, on Saturday the 8th March 2014, they visited, and had shown great interest, in the production of the company TIPS, Aircraft Ground Support Equipment.
TIPS company is the only Slovenian and one of the worldwide leader companies in the field of the production of high quality aircraft support equipment, especially Passengers Stairs and Belt Loaders, as well as other specialised vehicles and equipment for airports.
The Ambassadors, General Consuls and economic Attachés were welcomed by the General Manager and co - owner of the company Robert Pustavrh with co - workers. High ranking guests were visibly surprised by the specialisation of production, quality and technological accomplishment of passenger stairs, which they had been shown. Considering rich references and experience of the company TIPS, which exports as much as 98% of its production, the esteemed guests expressed an interest in establishing partnership contacts between the company and individual airports or ground handling companies from various countries.
The visit of the high ranking guests at the company TIPS took place on the initiative of the General Honorary Consul of Nepal in Slovenia, Aswin Kumar Shrestha, who emphasized, that the visit is mainly intended for the purposes of cooperation in the field of economy, tourism, culture, as well as the building of friendly relations. The esteemed guests were, before the visit at the company, welcomed and hosted by the Mayor of the Krško Municipality, Mag. Miran Stanko, with co - workers, at the Rajhenburg castle. He presented the municipality, mainly the potential business zones, which, with their strategic position and organised infrastructure, are also interesting for potential foreign investors. Later, the visit moved from the castle to the nuclear power plant Krško and, as mentioned before, to the company TIPS.
Considering the very positive response of the Ambassadors, General Consuls and economic Attachés, the company TIPS may, in the future, look forward to new cooperation mainly in the markets, where its rich experience and 45 year old tradition may significantly contribute to the development and increase of quality, as well as the improvement of productivity in the field of airport ground support equipment and aircraft servicing.
