Humberside International Airport Selects AIS for Passenger & Management Systems Upgrade

In 2011, Humberside International Airport served over 270,000 passengers and saw 26,000 aircraft movements to destinations globally. Favoured by KLM for direct flights to Amsterdam, the airport also has Eastern Airways flying between Norwich and Aberdeen.

The bulk of the movements are by helicopter to the North Sea oil rigs.

AIS has replaced various passenger and airport management systems for Humberside International, one of the UK's most Eastern airports. In a major contract, AIS has delivered a new Flight Information Display System and Airport Billing system, Humberside selecting:

  • ALDIS (Airport Landing Dues Information System) – Aeronautical billing will be processed by ALDIS billing system for credit and cash payments and management information
  • AFIDS (Airport Fight Information Display System) - For arrival information, carousels, gates, departure information and check-in desks and web uplift
  • Cash and Fuel Invoicing – Real-time system enabling on-demand creation of invoices
  • Security Sentinel – Passenger reconciliation system that cross references e-boarding passes for security and validation purposes
