The role of multi-purpose machines in Mine, IED and EOD clearance.
Belinda Goslin, a consultant for MineWolf Systems, has recently published an article in the journal Counter-IED report about the use of multi-purpose machines for EOD, IED and mine clearance in responding to new threats.
The article argues that with the changing nature of warfare and increase in threats from sophisticated munitions and IEDs, the need for multi-purpose machines is paramount to prevent operator casualties.
In particular it highlights the need for flexible, multi-purpose equipment, such as that offered by MineWolf Systems, that can deal with all the types of explosive hazard encountered by military and civilian humanitarian personnel both during and after conflict.
